Handling equipment for extrusion lines
The press makes the profile, but the handling equipment decides whether that profile is sellable. The puller guides the profile from the die under constant, adjustable tension — without it, long profiles wave, twist and end up as scrap. The run-out table cools (by air or water quench), the stretcher removes residual stress by elongating the profile a fraction of a percent, and the saw cuts to commercial length with automatic positioning.
This category covers single and double pullers with flying saw (cutting on the move, without stopping take-off) and complete table systems: from press take-off to the storage table before aging baskets. Everything is sized to press tonnage, profile length and production takt — which is why you will find parameters and price ranges here rather than catalogue model numbers; the exact configuration is engineered for your line.
Upgrading an existing line? A puller and stretcher are the most common first steps — they improve yield immediately, without touching the press. Tell us what is on your floor and we will advise what gives the biggest effect for the least money.
