This line does one job and does it fast: it slides single aluminium profiles into a film sleeve and heat-shrinks the film until it fits like a second skin. Bagging speed is 60 m/min, for profiles up to 7 m long and 350 × 350 mm in cross-section. A profile enters on the conveyor at one end and leaves transport-ready at the other — no hand wrapping, no taping, no carrying.

Mechanically it is a 13.5-metre train: infeed conveyors (2 × 1.5 kW), a sleeve-forming section driven by three 1.5 kW servo motors, and a 6 kW shrink tunnel — 13.5 kW installed in total, a modest bill for the workstation it replaces. Electrics are built on Schneider components, control is a PLC with touchscreen, and profile-detection sensors set the cycle automatically. The whole line weighs about 3 tonnes and stands only 1.6 m tall, but it does need a clear 13.5 × 6 m strip at the end of your finishing line.

The business case is why this machine sells faster than anything else we offer: the maker rates it at saving at least six workers at the packing table. Even at conservative European labour cost that is a payback of roughly 12–24 months — provided you genuinely ship large volumes of individually packed profiles. To be blunt: if you mostly ship bundles, you want a wrapping machine, not this line; if you need protective film on the surface (aluminum profiles for machining, for instance), you want a film taping machine. The factory-standard line requires EU conformity work on guarding and safety circuits — we state the scope and cost of that work plainly in the offer instead of hand-waving a CE mark.

How we work

Transaction terms

  • Production lead time: 5–9 wks

Applications

Single-profile packing after anodising, powder coating or wood-grain sublimation — wherever a transport scratch means a complaint: window-system, furniture, decorative and wood-finish profiles.

Who it is for

Extruders and finishing plants shipping high volumes of individually packed profiles; factories currently keeping 4–8 people at the packing table and struggling to hire more.

FAQ

How much does a profile bagging and heat-shrink line cost?

Indicatively €25–55k EXW depending on configuration (max cross-section, infeed automation, film width). The range on this page is public — the exact quote is prepared for your profiles and volumes, usually within a few working days.

What is the realistic payback?

The line replaces at least six packers, which at European labour cost means roughly €25–35k saved per year. That gives a 12–24 month payback — but only at high volumes of individually packed profiles. Send us your daily throughput and we will run the numbers before you spend a euro.

Can it pack bundles of profiles?

No — it is a single-profile machine. For bundles we supply wrapping machines, and for surface protection film, taping machines. A common setup is a taping machine after the press and this line after the coating plant.

What about CE?

The factory-standard line needs EU conformity work (guarding, safety circuits, documentation). We do not promise 'CE included' — we arrange the compliance quote and state plainly who formally bears conformity responsibility in your purchase setup.
