The ultrasonic film welding machine handles the step that decides the quality of the whole wood-grain sublimation process: sealing the aluminium profile into a tight sleeve of printed transfer film. A leaky or scorched seam means a blurred grain pattern and scrap — which is why ultrasonic welding has replaced glueing and heat sealing: it bonds the film locally, without burning the print and without adhesive marks on the powder-coated base.
The machine works in-line: the profile enters on a loading conveyor with a soft PVC belt that will not mark the coating, is wrapped in film 200–600 mm wide, and a travelling welding head seals the edge along the full profile length at 18–24 m/min. Throughput of 150–180 bags per hour keeps comfortably ahead of a continuous sublimation furnace. Total connected power is just 4 kW, so energy cost is negligible. The machine is about 15 m long but only 1 m wide and 1.5 m high — it sits along a wall, in line with the furnace infeed.
A note in fairness: if you buy our automatic sublimation machine, a basic film welder is included in the scope. Buying this machine separately makes sense as a second welder when output grows (bagging is usually the first bottleneck), to automate manual film wrapping on an existing batch chamber from another maker, or for welding protective film sleeves outside sublimation altogether.
This is one of the few machines in our range for which the manufacturer declares a CE certificate — for an aluminum profile plant importing from China, a genuine head start. We still verify the certificate's scope and the issuing body before any deal; our guide to CE marking of Chinese machinery explains why, and you can ask us for the document upfront.

Applications
Bagging aluminium profiles in transfer-film sleeves before wood-grain sublimation; sleeving profiles for batch sublimation chambers; welding protective film sleeves.
Who it is for
Sublimation plants adding throughput (second welder), powder coating shops with a batch chamber still wrapping film by hand, wood-finish profile producers.
FAQ
How much does an ultrasonic film welding machine cost?
Indicatively €18–35k EXW depending on machine length and automation level. The range on this page is public — the exact quote is prepared for your profile lengths and floor layout.
Is a welder not already included with the sublimation machine?
It is — our automatic sublimation machine ships with a basic film welder. This machine is bought separately as a second unit at higher volumes, or to pair with a batch chamber you already own.
What about CE conformity?
The manufacturer declares a CE certificate for this machine — rare in our range. Before the deal we verify the certificate's scope and the issuing body, and we share the document with you rather than just quoting the logo.
