In China, a fully automatic anodising plant is a convenience; in Europe it is arithmetic. A manual plant producing 200–300 tonnes of profiles per month needs 8–12 people per shift for racking, transferring and unracking. At European wage levels that crew, on two shifts, costs roughly the lower end of this line's price — every single year. The automatic line runs the complete cycle — profile stacking onto flight bars, programme-controlled transport between tanks, unloading and destacking — with 1–2 operators at the main HMI panel.

The process sequence is classic: degreasing, etching, anodising, electro-colouring and sealing. The difference is that coating thickness is set on the panel (typically 5–25 μm) and held by the controller from the counted electrical charge, not by an operator's feel — which ends the shift-to-shift repeatability debate. Tanks are powered by energy-saving IGBT rectifiers and built from PP, stainless steel or FRP-lined concrete. A worthwhile option is the ED module (electrophoretic coating): a clear or tinted lacquer applied electrically in the same line, a quality standard across Asian markets and increasingly specified for export profiles — including solar frame contracts.
