Aging oven for aluminium profiles (4-18 baskets)

Artificial aging is the final step that gives extruded profiles their target hardness (T5/T6 tempers). This chamber oven with forced hot-air circulation holds temperature within ±3-5°C across the whole chamber, because uneven aging means uneven hardness and complaints.

Configurations run from 4 to 18 baskets (3-20 tonnes per load) for profiles 6.5-13 m long. A 90 kW circulation fan, firing on natural gas, LPG or diesel, Siemens or Mitsubishi PLC with touchscreen and full temperature logging of every load, documentation increasingly demanded by customers' quality audits.

We supply the oven together with loading baskets, rail trolleys and heat-resistant gaskets (100°C or 280°C grades) that protect profile surfaces.

Applications

T5/T6 hardening of architectural, window-system and industrial profiles after extrusion.

Who it is for

Extrusion plants of any size: the oven is sized to the output of one or two presses.

FAQ

What is the difference between T5 and T6?

T5 means aging straight after extrusion (run-out table cooling), T6 follows solution heat treatment. The oven handles both; the difference is in temperatures and times programmed in the controller.
