Indicative range — an invitation to negotiate, not a binding offer. Verified: 2026-07-17.

The most popular tonnage for starting profile production: a 1000-tonne press for 5-inch (127 mm) billet covers the vast majority of architectural profiles — window frames, insect screens, furniture and light industrial profiles. Pre-stressed tie-rod frame, forged main cylinder, H13 container and stem.

Hydraulics are built on genuine Rexroth pumps, control on Siemens S7-1200 with a 10-inch Panasonic touchscreen. An 18-second dead cycle and extrusion speeds up to 10 mm/s translate into roughly 250–350 tonnes of profiles per month on two shifts, depending on the die.

We configure the machine for your plant: billet length 580–610 mm, front or rear loading, conventional or VFD drive. The factory-standard press requires EU conformity work on guarding and safety circuits — we describe that process and its cost honestly in the offer instead of pasting a dubious CE sticker.

FAQ

How much does a 1000 ton aluminium extrusion press cost?

Indicatively €55–85k EXW depending on configuration (drive, loading, equipment). The range on this page is public and kept up to date — the exact quote is prepared for your profile and building.

What is the lead time?

18–26 weeks of production plus roughly 6–8 weeks of sea freight. Anyone promising an extrusion press 'off the shelf' is selling a stock configuration or bluffing.

What about CE?

The factory-standard press needs EU conformity work (guarding, safety circuits, documentation). We arrange the compliance quote and state plainly who formally bears conformity responsibility in your purchase setup.
