The smallest press we offer — 530 tonnes (580 US ton) for 3-inch (76 mm) billet — is a specialist, not an all-rounder. It extrudes small, precise sections: heat sinks for electronics, LED housing and strip profiles, furniture and decorative trims, display frames. For this kind of work a big press burns money: the small billet means a smaller furnace, lower connected power and a shorter cycle, so the cost per kilogram of small-section profile is lower than any large machine can reach.

The construction follows the same school as the manufacturer's bigger tonnages: pre-stressed frame, forged main cylinder, H13 tool-steel container and stem, Rexroth hydraulics, Siemens control with touchscreen. At roughly 17 tonnes of machine weight it fits an ordinary production hall without the heavy foundations larger presses need, and it ships as a single load.

Now the honest part: who this press is TOO small for. If your plan is window, door or roller-shutter profiles — or typical architectural sections — a 530 t press will not extrude them economically: the sections are too large and the tonnage throughput too low for the numbers to work. The right entry point for that business is a 1000-tonne press with 5-inch billet. We would rather tell you that on the product page than sell you a machine you will want to replace within a year.

Where the 530 t press earns its keep is as a dedicated machine: the first extrusion step for an electronics, lighting or furniture maker bringing profiles in-house, or an add-on in a larger plant that takes short runs of small sections off the main press. The factory-standard machine needs EU conformity work (guarding, safety circuits) — we describe that process and its cost in the offer instead of pasting a dubious CE sticker.

What is the lead time, and what about CE?
