The largest press in our standard range: 4000 tonnes (4500 US ton) for 12-inch (305 mm) billet in a long-stroke configuration. This is the machine for large industrial sections — rail-car profiles, energy and transmission structures, beams for heavy transport and wide structural panels that simply cannot be extruded on the 1600–2800 t presses most plants run. The long stroke takes billets up to 1200 mm, which at large sections means less butt scrap and longer profile lengths per cycle.

The forged 35# steel main cylinder, 1380 mm in diameter, develops 3928 t at a system pressure of 230 kgf/cm². The container is driven by four 220 mm cylinders, the stem is H13 tool steel, and oil cooling runs through a plate heat exchanger. Extrusion speed reaches 15 mm/s with a 28-second dead cycle — a strong figure at this tonnage. PLC control with touchscreen and full cycle monitoring.

Let us be honest about the scale of this investment: the machine itself weighs around 300 tonnes and demands an engineered foundation with a deep pit, an overhead crane of serious capacity, and a megawatt-class power connection. The manufacturer supplies foundation guidelines and a free plant layout, but the structural foundation design is done locally — budget for it from day one. Around the press we complete the full line: multi-log billet heating furnace, double puller, run-out table with cooling, stretcher and aging oven, all sized to the sections you plan to produce.
