High-temperature gaskets for loading baskets
Freshly extruded aluminium is soft — and in a steel loading basket it rests directly on bare bars. Run a batch through the aging oven or the blasting booth and the damage shows up as pressure marks and scratches; the worst cases only become visible after anodising or powder coating, when rework is most expensive. Heat-resistant basket gaskets are the cheapest quality insurance in the whole plant: a strip of temperature-stable material fitted over the basket bars, keeping profile and steel apart.
Two grades are available. The 100°C grade covers transport and storage baskets and blasting duty. The 280°C grade keeps its properties in baskets that travel through the aging oven — T5/T6 cycles typically run at 160–210°C — and around curing ovens. Both grades last a realistic 3–4 years in service, after which the set is replaced; fitting is a simple manual job measured in minutes per basket, not hours. The material is abrasion-resistant and leaves no marks on the profile surface. Lengths are cut to your basket dimensions and colours are made to order — many plants colour-code gaskets to separate basket pools or production cells.
We handle this item the way a supply partner should, not the way a machine dealer would. New sets usually travel in the same container as an aging oven or another machine, which makes freight negligible. Replenishment orders — replacing worn gaskets or fitting out new baskets — ship within 2–4 weeks of confirmed dimensions; if a changeover is coming up, the cheapest route is adding stock to your next machinery shipment.
To quote we need three numbers: how many baskets, how many bars per basket and the bar length. A photo of the basket with a tape measure works just as well — you get a concrete price per set back, not a 'request a quote' form.

How is pricing handled?
There is no fixed list price because the cost depends on total length and temperature grade. We quote per basket set or per running metre — send the number of baskets and bar dimensions and you get a concrete figure. Shipped with a machine, freight is negligible; standalone orders go by courier or LCL, with freight shown separately in the quote.
Which grade do I need?
For baskets that enter the aging oven, only the 280°C grade — T5/T6 cycles exceed what the cheaper version tolerates. For transport, storage and blasting baskets the 100°C grade is enough. Most plants order both, in different colours, so they never get mixed up.
Are these PA66 thermal break strips?
No — the similar naming trips people up. A PA66 thermal break is a structural component inside a window profile; these are protective gaskets for loading-basket bars. Thermal break machinery has its own category.
Can I order gaskets on their own?
Yes — replenishment orders ship within 2–4 weeks of confirmed dimensions. The most economical option is still adding them to any of our container shipments; if your changeover is a few months away, tell us and we will reserve space in the next container.
